T Dunn Builders is proud to have received a Supreme Award at the 2026 Canterbury Regional House of the Year Awards for a distinctive new home built in Loburn, North Canterbury.
The same home was also featured in Season 9, Episode 7 of TVNZ’s Grand Designs New Zealand, making the award an especially proud achievement for Todd and the team.

Recognition for quality workmanship
The Loburn home was anything but a standard build. Its unusual design, detailed finishes and use of recycled materials required careful planning, problem-solving and close collaboration between Todd, the building team and the owners.
The project was completed on time and within budget, while still delivering the highly individual home the owners had imagined.
Receiving a Supreme Award is a great recognition of the quality workmanship and attention to detail that went into the build, and reflects the same approach T Dunn Builders brings to every project.

A team effort
Todd believes a successful build is about more than the finished home. Good communication, clear expectations and a strong working relationship with the client are just as important.
The Loburn project was a true team effort, with the owners closely involved throughout the build. Working together allowed their ideas to be brought to life while keeping the project practical, organised and moving forward.
Building across North Canterbury and beyond
From entry-level and family homes to lifestyle properties, liveable sheds and detailed architectural builds, T Dunn Builders creates custom homes across North Canterbury, Christchurch, wider Canterbury and selected West Coast locations.
This award is something the whole team is proud of and a great reminder of what can be achieved when strong design, quality workmanship and a good working relationship come together.
