There’s been a lot happening at T Dunn Builders lately.
Our Loburn build has had quite the year. After receiving a Gold Award and winning its category at the 2026 Canterbury House of the Year Awards, it went on to be named Supreme House of the Year under $1 million for the Canterbury region.
And now we’re heading to the National Finals.
Our Loburn home has been selected as one of the Top 100 homes in New Zealand in the 2026 Master Builders House of the Year competition. The Top 100 represents the best homes from the regional competitions around the country, with each finalist going through a second round of national judging ahead of the National Awards in Auckland this November.
For a locally owned North Canterbury building company, we’re incredibly proud to have our work recognised alongside some of the best builders and homes in New Zealand.
What does the award mean for our clients?
Awards are nice to have on the shelf, but for us, the real value is what they say about the standard of work we deliver.
For Todd and the team, it’s recognition of the same things we try to bring to every project: good workmanship, practical problem-solving, clear communication and a strong relationship with the people we’re building for.
We’ve just launched our new website
In between building houses and all the other things we do across North Canterbury, Canterbury and the West Coast, we’ve been hard at work constructing our new website.
We think it does a fantastic job of showcasing our work, as well as more effectively highlighting the wide range of our capabilities.
